I know I haven't posted anything in over a week but it's only because not much has been happening. The boys eat, play, and sleep. Brian works, works, and sleeps. And I cook, clean, chauffeur, cook, clean, and sleep (if I'm lucky). See, just the normal workings of an average family.
Over the past couple of weeks the boys and I have been spending lots of time at the beaches and playgrounds around town because the weather has been glorious.
During this memorial Day weekend we are blessed with more sunny weather. The past few years the weather has been cold and gray during the Memorial Day weekend even with 18 inches of snow a couple of years ago. The locals and tourists are quite pleased to have a real kick-off to summer this year. We have already taken advantage of the nice weather today to clean the deck and outdoor furniture. The boys are insisting on having all snacks and meals outside now. Fine by me! And Brian and Ben are planning on "camping" on the deck tonight in just sleeping bags. Again, fine by me!
We plan on taking a hike once the boys wake from their naps and we will definitely hit the beach tomorrow and do some grilling.
